1953 NASH RAMBLER CONVERTIBLE
Finished in classic Caribbean Blue with beautiful Blue and White interior. This incredible motorcar was just purchased in Southern California and been beautifully preserved, maintained and recently restored. With great pride we offer this extremely rare Nash convertible to the most particular buyer. I personally believe the investment potential of this limited production motorcar will grow beyond your imagination. Bid with confidence—this just might be one of the best finds on eBay! HISTORY AND DESCRIPTION FROM THE PREVIOUS OWNER: This is a nice 1953 Nash Rambler “Rail Top” convertible that is rare indeed as they only made 3,284 of these unique beauties in 1953! According to another 1953 Nash Rambler convertible owner that we have read about, they believe that very view still exist. Wow! Here’s your chance to buy one and as you can imagine they are getting really hard to find. The 1953 Nash Rambler was designed by Pinin Farina of Turin, Italy. This car was always stored in a climate controlled garage/building and it shows! The 1953 Nash Rambler “Rail Top” convertible was a stunning body style in 1953 and still is some 58 years later. Those of you who have seen the movie Superman probably remember Lois Lane driving one of these as Superman flew in the car as she was driving down the road. Yes, it is a 1953, believe it or not! This car is a dry, solid, Arizona, Idaho high mountain desert, western vehicle. We were amazed how well the car cruises down the freeway with the overdrive engaged. Too fun! The original Nash Rambler cowl data plate is intact and correctly in place on the cowl. This beauty has what appears to be the strong, original L-head, super flying Scot 184 CID 6-cylinder motor in it and running extremely well. The engine is backed by a smooth 3-speed standard Syncromesh transmission with a factory original overdrive. Both of which function well. Sounds go too with the “throaty” exhaust system with dual chrome tips. The beautiful 2-tone turquoise and white door panels, nice matching turquoise carpeting, nice original gauge cluster, nice original dash and nice original sun visors. The turquoise exterior paint is eye popping beautiful with really little to no wear showing and is still bright, shiny and looks great. How could you get any better! Manual convertible top, which is also in good condition along with a matching white convertible tonneau boot to cover the top when it’s down. This rare classic car is a great runner and a real nice looker. This car is nicely equipped, including an awesome Blaupunkt digital AM/FM stereo radio, compact disc player, factory fold out Continental rear spare tire mount, gorgeous flying lady hood ornament, chrome exterior driver’s side mirror, matching white and the original AM radio which comes on, but only static is heard (previous owner said it works but antenna is hooked up to the stereo so no antenna is connected to the original AM radio). This Nash Rambler has great looks and good power. There are not many of these left on the roads for sure! These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners. Any of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension and drive line seem to be in good working order as well as the electrical system. This car also sports good, original color matched Nash Rambler wheels with nice, original stainless steel hub caps, stainless steel trim rings and nearly brand new radial tires. Boy does this combination look great on this car and really retains that “original look!” It also has a nice, fully carpeted trunk compartment that is done using the same carpet used in the interior. This vintage car is a good investment opportunity! This vehicle is in good condition from top to bottom and from front to back. It will not disappoint someone looking for a good example of a sought after and hard to find classic car which is not seen at every stop light for sure. If you have been looking but cannot find a classic “drop top” Nash Rambler worthy of your hard earned money, look no further because this is the one! The chrome, stainless and original front and rear chrome bumpers are all good, as well as the grill which is beautiful. This vehicle is in nice mechanical condition and it runs and drives very well. It is solid with respect to overall mechanical condition as well as the overall cosmetic impression.

Financing

Finance rates as low as 8.9%.

We know that classic car financing can pose a unique challenge. Although a vintage or exotic car can be an excellent investment, some financial institutions attempt to apply standard “used car” rules for financing a classic car, which in many cases can make loan approval difficult.

We work closely with many banking institutions that understand and recognize the collector value of classic cars and view them as an investment, which allows us to help you get the financing you need so that you can have the car you have dreamed of.
