  • In 1978, Porsche released a slew of updates for the 911 to bring yet more drivability and enhanced performance. The old 2.7 Liter motor was expanded to a full 3.0 Liters to increase low-end torque – even with its larger size, the engine maintained the free-revving tendency, making it a markedly easier to drive car than the older models. Even better, the 3.0L proved more reliable than the 2.7, and the fully-galvanized body increased the car’s longevity even farther.

The 1981 Porsche 911 SC Sunroof Coupe featured here is finished in rare and highly desirable Rosewood Metallic over an impeccably kept Tan leather interior. This incredible motorcar was completed in April 1981 and sold to its first owner who meticulously cared for it for over 25 years before it was sold to its second and final owner at a world-class collection. Ordered new with a leather interior, electric sunroof, five-speed manual transmission, and power windows, this exquisite 911 SC is one of the nicest examples we’ve had the pleasure of offering for many years. The combination of incredible condition, low miles, and impeccable provenance make this the perfect example to add to any premier collection. I personally believe the investment potential of this highly desirable model will grow beyond your imagination, offered to the most demanding collector, investor, or enthusiast who desires to own one of the very best!

    Financing

Finance rates as low as 8.9%.

We know that classic car financing can pose a unique challenge. Although a vintage or exotic car can be an excellent investment, some financial institutions attempt to apply standard “used car” rules for financing a classic car, which in many cases can make loan approval difficult.

We work closely with many banking institutions that understand and recognize the collector value of classic cars and view them as an investment, which allows us to help you get the financing you need so that you can have the car you have dreamed of.
